Great local bakery. I often go there for their fresh bagels and croissants. They have a great selection on olives and honestly everything else too including cheese and chocolates that you don't find anywhere else. Super friendly staff as well.
AMAZING apple fritters and doughnuts, fantastic breads, deli and cheeses, good selection of gourmet groceries and British foods and their cakes are magic! The hot selection of foods is also out of this world. This place can do no wrong!
Lovely specialty shop. The place to go for baked goods, cooked meats, and Mediterranean specialty foods. Fantastic hot table selections. Their butternut squash ravioli is stupendous! Also a great source for Kawartha Dairy products.

Thank you adding to my wonderful birthday. This Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting was one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. Also kept refrigerated and 4 days later tasted just as good. I will definitely recommend this cake to all.
I love this bakery. We always order cakes from here for parties, and they are showstoppers--gorgeous presentation and just so yummy! Everyone always asks where the cakes are from, and we enthusiastically recommend La Rose. Our particular favorite is the bacio cake: get it, eat it, love it, you're welcome.

The cakes here are fabulous! I love the care a private grocer puts in their business with a special touch on customer service offering a walk out to the car. I've used them for my wedding and a birthday and have been quite pleased both times.
